The Wait Block and Timing
The wait (1) seconds block pauses the script for a set amount of time before running the next block.
Why It Matters
Without wait blocks, sequences run so fast the human eye can’t see each step. Adding small waits creates readable animations and timed effects.
Example: Flashing Effect
- When 🏁 clicked → repeat (5)
- hide → wait (0.3) seconds
- show → wait (0.3) seconds
The sprite flashes on and off 5 times.
